The Wedding

I got married on July 13, 2007 to my college sweetheart, Tejo Sukotrohadiyono, in Jogja. I know it's been almost a year already and it's a shame that I haven't posted any wedding pictures yet. But not to worry, finally... here I have a few pictures of the wedding day.


My mom is a Javanese and my father is a Minangese. We decided to do a traditional Minangese wedding -which is simpler, since my husband and I didn't have time to do the many complicated rituals that follow a traditional Javanese wedding ceremony.


The whole family from my husband's side. There you can see my father-in-law, my mother-in-law, my two brother-in-laws and their wives.


This is my family: My dad, my mom, my little sister, my big sis and her husband.

It's Karaoke Time..!!

I just love singing and hanging out with my friends. That's why everytime I go back home to Jogja, I always try to spare some time to karaoke with them. We always go to Happy Puppy (the karaoke place) and try to get ourselves a different room every time on each visit.

It was always the four of us: me, Elok, Bayu and Arko. Occasionaly with some other friends. Too bad, Arko had to leave Jogja and work at an oil company in Sumatra (though I'm happy for him) that we haven't been able to karaoke again with him for a while.

The first time we went to Happy Puppy, we got the medium-size room, actually too big for the five of us.

Not long after our first visit to Happy Puppy, we decided to karaoke again. This time, we managed to get a small room. Arko couldn't make it, so it was only the four of us. Ike took this picture.

At first I wasn't sure about picking this room since I wasn't that into the whole Star Wars thing, but it turned out to be one of the coolest rooms Happy Puppy had. Arko took this picture.

Another Ancient Egypt Room (it was the only available room left). Bayu took his friend, Indra this time and we went bowling afterwards.

I forgot the room name, but the walls were covered with posters of various musicians (No Doubt, The Corrs, Backstreet Boys, Carlos Santana). We went karaoking during my last visit to Jogja. Bayu took the picture.

Karimun Pt. 1

In the months of April to May 2006, my friend Alip and I went to this small Karimun Island in Riau where a massive source of granite quarries exists. Our company provides explosives for breaking up the walls of granite into small fragments.
So here are some of the pics we took there....

After an exhausting journey of climbing up the "emulsion matrix" storage tank ladder, I finally made my way to the top. I was already full of sweats and needed to cool down before getting back to the ground.

Maen Bareng Teman-Teman Kerja Praktek

Bulan April - Mei 2004 aku kerja praktek di Pertamina UP IV Cilacap dan bertemu teman-teman sesama jurusan Teknik Kimia dari lain universitas. Yudi dan Dito dari UMJ, Sari dan Wiwik dari Undip. Dalam waktu yang hanya dua bulan itu, ternyata kami sempat menjelajahi Jogja, Purbalingga, dan Purwokerto. Dua tahun kemudian, kami masih juga jalan bareng....
